2 1/2" (6.4 cm) Turbo Drive Socket Power Hub Anchor
2-1/2” Turbo Drive Anchors are rated at 15,000 ft-lbs installation torque and are used in areas with tough, dense soils where the power hub screw anchors cannot be installed. They consist of a one piece cast steel hub with welded on helix for increased torque and bending strength. The four flute leading tip is used to break through tough soils.
Install 2-1/2 with high strength installation tooling (7-5/8” bolt circle). Turbo Drive anchors are installed using a Kelly Bar adapter and Torque Tube to sleeve into the anchor and apply direct torque. They are commonly used with a 7’ anchor rod and single, double, or triple eyenut. Extensions for the Torque Tube and anchor rod are available when deeper installation depths are required.
Standard Turbo Drive (TD) anchors have a 3/8” thick helix. Heavy duty Turbo Drive (TDH) anchors have a ½” thick helix.
