Strain

Strain Plates are used with J1019 guy hooks to provide a bearing surface for the strand, preventing damage to the wood fibers of the pole. Two to four plates are required per pole depending on its diameter. The plate is 4-inch x 8-inch x 14 gauge, curved on a 5-inch radius, with four 3/16-inch diameter nail holes.
